ANTHOLOGIES
SUBMISSIONS
GUIDE
Submissions
for novels and novellas should be made through the Fiction4All Publishing Hub
at https://publishing4all.com
You
need to become a member first as that is the basis for our publishing software
and royalty payment systems. You can submit stories to our anthologies from
within the Anthology Writers suite.
It
is essential all writers submitting to our anthologies follow the instructions
given against each open call for submissions.
This includes the required length of the story and please note –we do
not want headers or footers on any submission. Scripts will be rejected if
you don’t follow the instructions.
Ideally
submissions should be written to the following standard:
1st
line – story title in Cambria 16 pt bold – centred on
page with no paragraph indent
2nd
line – author name in Times New Roman 14 pt bold –
centred on page with no paragraph indent
For
example:-
This
Is My Story
My
author name
Start
any new chapters on a new page headed as Chapter 1 and so on, again centred and
in Cambria 16pt bold:-
Chapter
1
The
actual script should be written in Times New Roman, 12pt. Paragraphs should be
indented 0.75cm on the first line and all should be single spaced. This text is
an example of how we prefer the script to be laid out.
To
be sure we have received the whole document please end
your story with “The End” after the final line – we will remove this.
We
reserve the right to make alterations to any text without your permission on
the basis such changes will be for the purposes of formatting the script to our
in-house style, resolving any spelling or grammar issues and ensuring
characters and locations are named consistently. We will not change the story
itself other than for the above checks.
If
your script is rejected, and you want feedback, our editor will provide this.
You can choose at the time of making the submission.
If
your submission is accepted into an anthology, we will publish it once the
anthology is full. Don’t forget – you
can have up to three stories in any anthology (and unlimited in our Curved Quill
Press anthologies), more if the call specifies a higher number.
